Workshop 26 June: Design a conference session

Becoming a great presenter starts with having something to say. The next step is developing that message into an engaging, informative presentation.

This program prepares you to deliver a presentation at a professional conference or at a staff forum within your own organisation.

In this half-day session you will explore:

  • Choosing the best structure and presentation style for your material
  • Creating presentation slides and posters (templates provided)
  • Finding and selecting illustrations
  • Using interactive elements

This is the second workshop in a three-part program, “Add Conference Presenter to your CV“. The final session, a dress rehearsal, will be held in September 2019. The program fee covers the workshops and the rehearsal, plus individual feedback after each session.

Feedback from 2017 participants

  • “I thought it was excellent.”
  • “The development program was great for new presenters”
  • “Continue with what you did this year and support the first timers”
