Display your favourite photos on your Mac desktop

Are you tired of the same old image in the background of your computer screen?

If you have an Apple Mac, PowerBook or MacBook Air, you can change the background to display one or more of your favourite images. No plug-ins or downloads – just follow the five steps outlined below.

  1. Copy your favourite images into a new folder

  2. Open System Preferences and select Desktop and Screensaver

  3. Add your new folder to the menu (click the + sign, bottom left)

  4. Adjust the settings (fill screen, timing, random order) and close the preference panel

VoilĂ , your beautiful new desktop!
